Qi Gong is an internal art rooted in ancient China, which aims to separate the body into distinct parts and then reconnect those parts into an unified whole, thus making the body and mind into a single entity for the purposes of increasing one’s health, developing martial skill, and attaining spiritual realization.
Unlike many systems in the East which seek to deny the body, Qi Gong practitioners realize that whatever goals we hope to attain in this life, we need the body and mind to coordinate if we are to function at a high level of efficiency.
